Please send character reference sheets as a file whenever possible so I can see the colors as accurately as possible.WORK PROCESS & REVISIONSFor lined artwork, I usually send progress updates at the following stages:
1. composition options, if needed
2. refined sketch
3. lineart
4. colors
5. shading
6. background / final details, if neededMajor revisions are free during the composition and sketch stages.
Changes requested after the sketch has been approved may require an additional fee.
If I made a mistake with your character’s design, colors or other details that were clearly shown in the provided reference, I will fix it for free.
For lineless artwork, I will send several progress updates instead of following these exact stages. Small corrections are free; larger changes may require an additional fee.DEADLINESTurnaround time is discussed individually for each commission.
The deadline I give you is an estimate. If I need more time, I will let you know about the delay.CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDSI reserve the right to cancel a commission at any stage.
If I cancel the commission, the refund depends on how much work has already been completed:
sketch stage — 90% refund
lineart stage — 50% refund
color / shading / background stage — 20% refund
If the client cancels the commission after I have started working, payments are non-refundable.REFERENCES & OTHER ARTISTS’ WORKYou may send other artists’ work as visual references or inspiration.
I will not make an exact copy of another artist’s work or character design. If you want something inspired by a particular artwork, I will adapt the idea rather than reproduce it directly.PLEASE KEEP IN MINDBefore commissioning me, please look through my portfolio and make sure my style fits your idea. You can always ask me for additional examples of my work.
I am open to unusual ideas and subjects I don’t draw often, but the final result will still reflect my own style and experience.
I reserve the right to decline any commission that I don’t feel comfortable taking.
